Longdon, Queenhill and Holdfast Parish Council
Councillors are hereby summoned to attend an Ordinary Parish Council Meeting to be
held in Longdon Village Hall on Monday, 9 January 2023 at 7.30pm
This meeting is open and welcomes members of the public.
Agenda
1. Apologies:
Councillors are reminded to give apologies for absence in writing to the clerk in advance of each
meeting missed and that the 6 months absence rule may be upheld.
2. Declarations of Interest:
Councillors are reminded to:
a) Update their Register of Interests – to be updated;
b) Declare disclosable pecuniary interests in items on the agenda and their nature;
c) Declare any other disclosable interests in items on the agenda and their nature;
d) Submit written requests for the granting of Dispensations to the Clerk in advance of the meeting.
3. Consideration of any dispensation requests:
To consider whether to grant any requests for dispensation.
4. Public session:
The time allocated is at the discretion of the Chairman. Parishioners are invited to give their views on
issues and ask questions relating to items on the agenda or to raise issues for future consideration.
5. Minutes:
To receive and approve the minutes of the Meeting of the Parish Council held on 7 November 2022.
6. Progress Reports:
a) South Worcestershire Development Review Publication Consultation: PC response to the
SWDP ‘Renewable and Low Carbon Energy Cal for Sites’ was submitted on the revised deadline
of 23 December;
b) Land Registry B235 Notice of Proposed Alteration of the Register for Longdon Village
Green: To update Councillors;
c) Speedwatch Scheme: To update Councillors;
d) Worcestershire Highways Liaison Officer: To update Councillors;
e) Community Website: To update Councillors;
f) Longdon United Charities: To update Councillors..
7. Reports from District and County Councillors
To receive an update from the District Councillor and County Councillor.
8. Finance:
a) To receive and approve a report on the financial position of the Council on 31 December 2022;
b) To approve payment of fees and invoices presented;
c) To agree provisional expenditure for additional VAS sundry items;
d) To finalise and agree the submission of the 2023 /24 precept.
9. Longdon Village Hall:
a) To discuss issues prior to a meeting of the Parish Council as Sole Trustee (16 January).

10. Planning Applications:
a) No new planning applications;
b) To note application M/22/01487/HP (Queenhill Lodge) has been withdrawn.
11. Future meeting schedule: Confirm the date of the next meeting as 6 February 2023.
