The Parish Council is inviting applications for a part-time Lengthsman.
The modern Lengthsman is a locally employed person who can really make a difference to the community environment by undertaking minor highways maintenance, such as drainage, sign cleaning, vegetation cutting and other small-scale maintenance projects. The position would suit a practical person with experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, agriculture, building/maintenance etc. The contract is for one year only (starting 1st April) but may be extended.
